Wellness Consultation

for Federal Employees

At Del Ray Psych and Wellness, we recognize how stressful and uncertain this time can be for federal employees who are furloughed or laid off. Sudden changes in routine, financial strain, and the loss of stability can take a real toll on emotional well-being. To help support our community during this difficult period, we are offering discounted wellness consultations designed to provide space for understanding, guidance, and renewed balance.

These consultations are provided by Dr. Talia Abreu and Lawrence Franco, who bring warmth, expertise, and a collaborative spirit to every session. Both understand that even short-term support can make a meaningful difference. Together, they help clients identify what feels most challenging right now, explore the impact of those stressors, and develop practical strategies to move forward with confidence and clarity.

Each 60-minute session begins with time to share your concerns and talk about how recent changes have affected your life. The remainder of the session focuses on identifying steps and resources that can help you reduce stress, strengthen relationships, regain focus, and restore a sense of direction and well-being. When helpful, your wellness specialist may also follow up with additional tools or resources via email to support you between sessions.

We understand that accessing quality mental health care can sometimes feel overwhelming—especially when financial worries, time constraints, or uncertainty about starting therapy get in the way. That’s why we’re offering these wellness consultations at a reduced rate of $60 per 60-minute session. You may schedule up to five sessions, and if you decide that continued support feels right, we can help you transition into traditional psychotherapy at standard rates.

Sessions are available for individuals 18 years and older and can be held virtually or in person (with limited availability). Appointments are offered on a first-come, first-served basis, and payment is due at the time of service. Please note that insurance is not accepted for this offering.
