Dr. Lauren Fisher is a licensed clinical psychologist and the co-owner of Del Ray Psych & Wellness, LLC. She has been working and practicing in Northern Virginia for the past 12 years. She is passionate about helping individuals live their lives more authentically, easily, and joyfully. In particular, her focus lies in working with adults who are experiencing depression and anxiety and who are seek healing, change, and growth in their lives. Dr. Fisher uses a client-centered and strength-based approach by addressing the mind, body, and spirit in a light-hearted and authentic approach. Dr. Fisher is also committed to enhancing community wellness through events and acts of charity with other like-minded colleagues. She currently serves as the Wellness Chair on the board of the Del Ray Business Association. She has a love for cats, travelling, self-growth, and bringing people together to celebrate life.

Dr. Eleni Boosalis is a licensed Clinical Psychologist and the co-owner of Del Ray Psych & Wellness, LLC. She is passionate about working with people who are seeking to heal and evolve by using a holistic treatment approach. She brings 13 years of experience as a psychotherapist and clinician. Dr. Boosalis integrates mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy, hypnosis, energy psychology, and spirituality into her therapeutic approach. She enjoys treating adults who are experiencing disorders of anxiety and depression. She has attended several trainings at the Omega Institute which have influenced her on both a personal and professional level. Dr. Boosalis is also a mother of three young children and has a love for travel, yoga, and reading anything on spirituality.

+ Amy Begnal, EdS, CRC
Amy Begnal is a Resident in Counseling and Certified Rehabilitation Counselor. She has a strong desire to work with individuals, families, or couples who hope to experience an increased satisfaction in their relationships with themselves or with others. Amy offers a gentle and nonjudgmental therapeutic process to help facilitate change. She utilizes mindfulness-based approaches to guide clients to become more aware of automatic thoughts that result in undesirable circumstances or behaviors. Her interests include working with clients to improve parent-child, family, or couple relationships as well as helping individuals explore ways to cope with feelings of anxiety, depression, or trauma. Amy is dedicated to altruistic efforts to include supporting military families, homeless outreach, domestic abuse advocacy, and animal welfare. Additionally, she is a mother and a wife who enjoys exploring the outdoors, traveling, engaging in physical activity, and seeking opportunities for personal growth.

+ Kristin R. Schmittel, MA, NCC
Kristin Schmittel is a Resident in Counseling at Del Ray Psych & Wellness, LLC. She focuses her practice on building relationships with clients to foster a safe and supportive therapeutic environment. Kristin believes deeply that those struggling through anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and life changes need an ally and someone who understands them; she seeks to be that ally. She brings a unique background to the field of psychology, having spent ten years in the corporate world. This experience has given her a first-hand understanding of the stressors that competitive environments, difficult bosses, or unsatisfying careers can create for individuals, as well as how those stressors can then have spill-over effects on life at home. She uses career methodologies that have proven to help both young professionals and seasoned executives navigate career challenges, transitions, and growth.
She is passionate about helping individuals hit their career goals and matching individuals with the right career path. Kristin has found mindfulness and holistic therapy help clients unlock their most authentic self. Kristin has a love for spending time outdoors, traveling with her fiancé, and reading about neuroscience and peak performance.

Sarah Pitkin is a Licensed Professional Counselor at Del Ray Psych & Wellness, LLC. She aims to help clients clarify their problems, define goals, and to develop insight into emotional and relational challenges. Through a collaborative relationship, she assists clients in using their own strengths and abilities, in conjunction with any additional coping skills or strategies needed, to master a sense of life balance and well being.
Sarah enjoys working with adolescents, adults, couples and families. She uses an integrated approach that includes psycho-education, mindfulness, cognitive behavior therapy, trauma informed therapy, positive psychology and art therapy. As a licensed substance abuse treatment practitioner, she assists clients and their families in understanding the bio-psycho-social aspects of addiction and facilitate strategies and connections that support recovery.

+ Anna Eng, PsyD
Dr. Anna Eng is a Resident in Clinical Psychology at Del Ray Psych & Wellness, LLC. In her approach with clients, Dr. Eng integrates insight oriented therapy, mindfulness, and cognitive behavioral therapy. She is passionate about treating adults who are experiencing issues of self-worth and self-esteem, mood/anxiety disorders, and health psychology related topics including pain management and acceptance of new medical diagnoses. She also works with medical teams and treatment centers in the provision of psychological evaluations and assessment of candidates undergoing consideration for implantable pain management devices. Dr. Eng is originally from northern New England and in her spare time she enjoys exploring the city as well as spending time in nature.
